Refinery Photography

Refinery Photography

Photography of Refinery involves covering vast areas with ultra wide angle lens with a professional camera. A typical refinery consists of the main plant, the control centre, raw goods inwards section, admin office, emergency first aid centre, canteen and finally warehouse from where the final finished products are sent by trucks to their respective destinations.

There are many important processes to be covered extensively by the photographer and this involves studying the complete layout of the plant as well as the processes to be covered.

Panorama and HDR photography become more of a necessity rather than an optional photography service.

The typical time duration required is one full day and in case the night shoot is involved, we may require to stay back late in the evening to capture the plant with all its lights glowing brightly.

Here are some of the photographs captured for IG Petro Chemicals Ltd. @ Taloja.

Interior Decoration Photography in Mumbai

Interior Decoration Photography in Mumbai

Photography of interior decor of a residential place requires time, patience and consistency. There are two important aspects to be decided is such a photography assignment: is it day-time shoot or a night shoot.

It make a world of a difference, when the photography is taken. Generally, it is preferred to shoot during the night time, so that the ambient light conditions highlight the various effects of the indoor lights. Multiple and complex lighting conditions makes indoor decor photography exciting and rewarding.

The light generally used in residences and commercial places like hotels etc. are a combination of florescent and tungsten and sometime LED bulbs / illumination may be used.

Special emphasis should be given to chandeliers that are the highlights of the interior decor designing.

Photography of Silverware

Silverware Photography

One of the most challenging genres of photography is that of the silver and gold items. Infact, all shiny products tend to reflect direct light and give glare provides a very challenging lighting situation.

in addition to the photographic challenges, there are efforts and time required towards the post processing of the images in software like Adode Photoshop, Lightroom etc.

The client may require the photographs for the web / print medium, in any case care needs to be taken right from the beginning and planning of the shoot.

Car Photography in Mumbai

Car Photography in Mumbai

One of the most interesting genre of photography is the photo-shoots of cars! Among the plethora of models from numerous car manufacturers, it becomes interesting and exciting to be selected for car photography.

Photography of cars, can be done under two circumstances, indoor: in a showroom / factory or outdoors.

Depending on the requirements of the client, the complete indoor and outdoor photo-shoots can also be done.

There are three main focus areas to be covered: exteriors, interiors and under the bonnet.

Additional lights may be employed to shoot the generally dim-lit interiors of the car. As we cannot undertake flash photography, the ambient light maybe too strong and hence mounting the camera on a tripod and then shooting in Aperture Priority (AV) mode becomes the best creative mode to shoot.

Here are some of the photographs taken of a car:
